Students' Voice
This page is an opportunity for students to freely express their thoughts, feelings, on any aspect of the course we offer. We hope it will help to give you a "feel" for what the school and course can offer.
The weekend of 17/18 April 2010 saw the new intake begin the great adventure - a full course and a lovely group of people - we even have a male student, which is wonderful. Emails coming in on how students feel about this weekend.........

“Well, where do I start...... what an incredible first weekend you have given me, and the rest of the group. I find your energy and way of teaching to be amazing, it is done with such a zest and love for what you do, that it doesn't feel like ''teaching''. I was speaking with the girls during the lunch break today and they all agreed that most of us already feel like best friends with each other. There is a wonderful group of people, and I love our discussions and talks when ideas are just bouncing off the walls, it feels great.
For a while I hadn't found anything that truly stimulated my mind and gave me the interest and stimulation that I crave, and this has. Me and my fiancé have had dinner with my mum/step-dad this evening, we have just got back home now and I have spent from 5.30pm when we got there, until 9.30pm showing them the videos from my usb; explaining Cells and skin structures and working my magic on my fiancé’s feet. My mum was beaming from ear to ear because she couldn't believe how much it got me so passionate about it.
I wanted to thank you so much, because this might well be my vocation on life now, but if the tutor doesn't make it vibrant you just won't be ''feeling it''. Yourself and Viv Tipper are wonderful women, and true goddesses of the Reflexology world!

Another group coming to its close - tears all round at the last teaching class! It's a privilege for Viv and me to teach these wonderful women - and the man! Thank you, we'll miss you!

"absolutely agree Lyndsey, it's been amazing. We have all come so far and it's been mindblowing; hard work, but so rewarding. I know each and every one of us is going on to do wonderful things for people, and there is plenty more healing to come.

"A brilliant course that I would recommend again and again. How lucky we are to have the option to study reflexology in Lincoln. Glenys and Viv are experts in their field and have created a course that ticks all the ' regulatory boxes' ,and more. The study days are well planned with different methods of teaching applied. There is always help at hand, either during the study days or in-between and amazingly Glenys seems to always answer the phone. How does she do that ?

"If learning thoroughly is what you are interested in then, the Anahata School of Reflexology with Glenys and Viv is where you want to be. It is enjoyable, exciting and a thrill, as well as serious learning.
I felt the dark horse amongst the group. I had no background in anatomy and physiology. I had never done anything in the field of complementary therapy before.
Students are allowed to be themselves and express their thoughts and views, regardless of whether it makes sense. Modules are well structured and the course is broad based.
A great learning experience and I was only hoping for a pass grade. I did not make the distinction, but nevertheless came away feeling quite capable and accomplished.
If anything I had enough information in my head. I should have easily been able to gain a distinction. This I can only attribute to the expert tuition given. If I could do it then anyone can.

Glenys Underwood and Viv Tipper, our tutors, are two fabulous, friendly ladies who teach in a relaxed and fun way and make all the hard work and study much easier with their coaching styles.
I haven’t got a medical background but it doesn’t matter, the course is so good, you can learn all you need to know and I’m really enjoying every minute of it.
I often think I should have done this years ago, but if I had it wouldn’t have been with this great school as it wasn’t set up then – and I really wouldn’t want to go anywhere else to learn – why should I – this school is just the best!" - Angie F-G
