Foot Reading Course with Jane Sheehan
2018 course finished. Watch for next dates
Bishop Grosseteste University, Longdales Road, Lincoln LN1 3DY
Room 3, Robert Hardy Building
The course is aimed at people with no prior knowledge, although reflexologists will find their knowledge an advantage and the benefit for them is to have a deeper understanding of the way emotional aspects and personalities are reflected on their clients' feet. I personally have found this skill very beneficial in my reflexology treatments as the knowledge can be used in a therapeutic way. I find clients are absolutely fascinated by what insights we can pick up on the feet!
You will earn CPD points as well as having a very interesting and enjoyable weekend. Members of FHT receive five CPD credits per day and members of the Association of Reflexologists receive two points per hour.
The first day is the Theory Day, covering such things as individual meanings of the toes and meaning of toe shapes; the sequence of a foot reading session.
The second day is the Practise Day - a "hands-on" workshop including reading each others' feet; how to deliver information to the client; how to release emotional blockages and general coaching skills. Be prepared for a very interactive day!
Not only will you learn a new skill to add to your holistic therapy toolkit, but you'll also be able to earn back your course fees! If you only conducted one foot reading party for 8 people, you could earn £160 for the session.
Jane will be bringing her books and "crib" cards for purchase on the day.
