Taster Day - An Introduction to Reflexology
Sunday 17th March 2019 - a few places left
"It was fantastic. My husband benefited from everything we were taught yesterday, he can't wait for May too! I've made a good start on the reading list and have managed to get all the must haves and even found a copy of the beryl crane book. Just looking at lafuma chairs, that's the next purchase! Thank you once again for an excellent day." Katie B
"I just wanted to thank you for a wonderful day yesterday – I so enjoyed it and am so excited to start my reflexology journey with such a wonderful group of ladies ....... thank you again for being so inspirational." Charlotte L
"Wow, what an amazing day from the moment I walked in until it was time to leave, the day was fun, interesting and came away being able to do relaxation on my husband the next day. Can't wait to start the course in May." Vanessa
"Just wanted to say a big thank you for such a lovely day on Saturday, I thoroughly enjoyed my self, good company and learning something new too. It was just the right mix of information and fun which cemented my decision to do the course, I am so looking forward to starting in May. I and my feet still felt very relaxed on Sunday!" Cathy.
"Thank you for yesterday. Everyone was so lovely, and I learned so much.
I tried the relaxation techniques on Martin last night, and he said that he slept a lot better. He also said that he didn't know what I had done to him, but this morning he feels so much better. Maybe we have turned the corner!! I think I can see my life going in a new direction. Thank you." Karen
This is an introductory workshop in the art of reflexology. If you're thinking of becoming a reflexologist, or simply interested in learning how to help family and friends benefit from its relaxing aspects, this is a workshop for you.
This is a one-day experience and you don't need any special equipment other than a set of colouring pencils, a towel and a pair of feet. Your own feet will do as you'll be sharing feet with others on the course; although you could encourage one of your friends to attend as well - and use their feet instead!
The workshop is being conducted by Glenys, assisted by one or two of her graduates and present reflexology students who are nearing the end of the year-long Level 5 course which qualifies them to be Clinical Reflexologists in their own right. This gives you a good opportunity to ask them about their experience of the course!
More and more people are turning to reflexology as a therapy for all sorts of conditions and it's fast becoming recognised as one of the most effective complementary therapies available. There are lots of opportunities to specialise in various aspects of reflexology, once qualified.
This workshop is a highly enjoyable - and relaxing - experience in reflexology. From this day, you'll develop a new skill which can benefit your family and friends - and maybe lead onto other things as well! If you are already booked onto the Course, this is an opportunity to meet some of the others who will be on the course. Of course, this day can be enjoyed even if you aren't thinking of training!
We have an introduction to what reflexology is, how it may work, and you have the opportunity to map reflexes onto a template of feet. You will learn something about the Course and school and a question and answer session. In the afternoon I teach you the relaxation routine which can be used on family and friends. This is the first part of the routine we learn at the school but it isn’t essential that you attend and learn it on Taster Day.
Times: 9:30 for 10:00 am start. We finish at 4pm.
Venue: The Ibis Hotel, Runcorn Road, off Whisby Road Lincoln LN6 3QZ. (This is off Whisby Road, off A46 Lincoln bypass, near Pride of Lincoln pub).
Should you decide to train with us to become a reflexologist, your £25 will be deducted from cost of course!
